About the Presentation

Caregivers often sacrifice taking care of  themselves because they feel it is selfish to take time away from their loved one to attend to their own needs. This workshop will equip you to do  both.  Caregivers will learn strategies for successful  Alzheimer’s  communication as well as practical tips for self-care.  They will leave with a toolkit of ideas for interpreting behaviors and managing caregiver stress. Join us as we  learn that  self –care isn’t self-ish, it is essential!
