Using all those electric heaters scared me!

This letter was received from a family who recently qualified for the Weatherization Program.

Dear ETHRA Workers,
Words cannot describe how much I appreciate all you have done for us.  I am so grateful for all you have done to make our home more energy efficient.  There was no possible way we could have done this without your help.  I would like to thank all the people with ETHRA especially Sharon, Randy, Chris and all the young men who came to my house and did the work.  These were the hardest working people I have ever seen.

I was pleased to death with the central heat and air unit.  I have always wanted one but not been able to have one put in our home.  Using all those electric heaters scared me because they are so dangerous.  You just don't how much that meant to me.  The workers fixed the house so no cold air could get inside.  It is so much warmer now thanks to you.  The refrigerator was a wonderful surprise.  The one I had was about to stop working.  It would make a loud popping sound sometimes and I was just waiting for it to stop working any day.  I am so thankful for all the insulation that was added to our home.  Everyone who came to my house was so nice and respectful to us.  This is hard to find in this day and time.

We are blessed to have people like you working to make our lives better.  The world would be a better place if there were more people like you around.
