Riding in the Christmas Parades

In the weeks leading up to the Christmas holiday season many Transportation Drivers volunteered their time to show our presence in the communites of East Tennessee.

In the past few years we have had our buses in a few parades in the area, but this year we were able to expand that to more counties and communites.

It is always a great experience for the drivers as well as those who take the opportunity to ride with us.

In Loudon County, residents from a local health care facility went to "Christmas in Olde Loudon."  This is their second year riding in the parade.  The residents look foward to the parade each year as do the drivers.

At the Scott County Christmas parade, ETHRA passengers and drivers had the priviledge of meeting Senator Ken Yager.

ETHRA buses were also in Kingston, Harriman, and Blount County parades and festivities.

ETHRA and staff are looking forward to more parade invites next year.  Merry Christmas!
