The Transportation Call Centers serve as a central calling point to manage requests for United Healthcare TennCare recipients living in East and Middle Tennessee who need to arrange transportation to medical appointments.

 

Eligibility

United Healthcare TennCare clients.

 

Goals

To promptly and courteously serve United Healthcare TennCare clients.

 

To accurately schedule transportation.

 

To appropriately meet the needs of the disabled population. 

 

Number of Persons Served

Approximately 248,641 calls handled per year.

Approximately 401,564 trips scheduled per year.

 

Source of Funding

Contracts through United Healthcare.

 

Area Served

East and Middle Tennessee counties.
