About the Presentation - Montessori Methods are typically associated with childhood education; however these same innovative ideas are now being applied to dementia care. Learn about techniques for involving individuals living with dementia in meaningful activities using partnership, modeling, errorless learning, and all the senses.

About the Speaker - Melanie Cahill is the Cognitive Support and Community Education Coordinator with Choices in Senior Care in Knoxville. She has a background in Speech

Language Pathology which she draws from to develop and implement cognitive support and stimulation programs for screening and working with clients that have cognitive deficits. She works with her team to provide education and resources to the community.
