Explanation of Services

The Area Agency on Aging and Disability (AAAD) is an information resource on a wide range of topics related to older adults, family caregivers and adults with disabilities.  AAAD Information and Assistance staff are trained and certified by the Alliance of Information and Referral Systems (AIRS).  Specialists also maintain, update and cross reference local resources.  Specialists are trained in screening callers to determine eligibility for various programs, help in a crisis, and provider additional help when needed.  For assistance, call 866-836-6678.
