You must meet requirements set forward by the Tennessee Valley Coalition to End Homelessness.

Explanation of Services

ETHRA has received a limited number of Emergency Housing Vouchers (EHVs) designed to help those who are homeless or face potential homelessness. In order to be eligible for an EHV, an individual or family must meet one of four eligibility categories:

  • Homeless
  • At risk of homelessness
  • Fleeing, or attempting to flee, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, or human trafficking
  • Recently homeless and for whom providing rental assistance will prevent the family’s homelessness or having high risk of housing

To Apply

You must contact the Tennessee Valley Coalition to End Homelessness @ 865-859-0749 to apply for one of these vouchers OR, for victims of domestic abuse, the YWCA Knoxville & The Tennessee Valley @ 865-523-6126.

If approved, you will be able to choose your own home and make income-based rent payments. You may also qualify for help with your security and utility deposits/arrears, essential household items, etc.
